Wow...that trumpet vine just took me back to my childhood! I don't think I've seen one since! There were tons of them in our neighborhood growing up the telephone poles! Thanks for the memories!
Betsy--I too have memories of trumpet vines from my childhood!! My mom had a huge one growing on a fence in our backyard. The one in the picture was growing here when we bought the place 11 years ago. It has definitely grown bigger since then.
