Flash from the past.......remember these Saturday posts?

Saturdays--Starting back to school makes me appreciate this day of the week for "catching up"

Produce from the garden--I'm trying to remember that all this bounty that I'm canning will be worth the pinched nerve in my back--this winter.

An Industrious 10 year old--Mopped my bathroom, cleaned my laundry room, and swept out several dusty corners all in the last half hour.

Bloggy Friends--I enjoy your comments, and interaction here on my blog so much.  I often lack adult conversation, and you help fill that gap in my life.

Toddlers Playing Together Happily--Peace is reigning for the moment, and I'm basking in it.

Things I'm Happy For This Saturday 6

Haven't posted one of these in a while. :)


My Washer and Dryer I can't even estimate how much time these two appliances save me.


Children waking up happy  My almost two year old is always cheery in the morning--snuggling with me and saying "Luf oo mom"


Garden Produce We don't have a garden of our own this year, but so many of our friends have blessed us with their bounty--thank you!!!!


My Case Worker She went on vacation this past week, and I truly missed her--I know case workers sometimes get a bad rap, but this one is a GEM!!!!


A Husband Who Understands I've had a number of days this past week that I didn't accomplish much--due to a baby that wanted to be held, and he never complained once--just pitched in and helped when he got home after working all day in the heat--he's one of a kind!!!!

A Quiet House--Older boys are outside, and the little boys are playing quietly.

(which should probably worry me)

 

 

My Husband--He makes me smile. (that's one of the reasons I married him)

 

 

My Little Family--I look at their faces around the dinner table and can't believe how blessed I am.

 

 

A Good Night's Sleep--My baby slept all night last night! (Why do I always mention sleep in these posts?)

 

 

Pacifiers--I don't think I need to explain this one. :)

Things I'm Happy For This Saturday 4

A Warm House--it's 19 degrees outside brrrrrr.

A Good Breakfast--my husband makes better eggs than I do.

Snow--we have about 3 inches, and it makes everything so pretty and white.

Empty Hampers--my laundry is caught up, and that's a rare occurrence around here.

Naps--I'm going to celebrate the fact that it's Saturday by taking one a little later today. :)

Appliances--while I sit here and blog several of them are doing my work for me. :)

Sunshine--It is absolutely gorgeous out today.

Chamomile Tea--Nothing like a good nights sleep after a cup of tea.

A Clean House--Why oh why does that make me so happy?

A Good Book--There's one waiting on my night stand for me to read

Things I'm Happy For This Saturday 2

Naps--I was up more than down last night.


Weeds--there's something very therapeutic about garden weeding.


Grilled Food--for me this means two things-I didn't have to cook, and my kitchen stayed clean.


Good Friends--sometimes a simple phone call can do so much to cheer, and encourage me!!


A Dishwasher--don't know how I would keep up with all the bottles and sippy cups without this appliance.


Sunshine--even tho we could use some rain I do enjoy the bright sunny days.

Slobbery baby kisses--forgot how much I love them.


A clean house--thanks to my six year old baby entertainer.


Daddy's home--so I might get a nap this afternoon


Sams Club--plenty of groceries in the fridge.


Air Conditioning--it's sweltering outside.


Baby giggling--there's no sweeter background noise.


Good Health--my cold is finally better!
